First voting for 2019 Lok Sabha polls cast by ITBP in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to the order of EC, the first phase of LS polls will start from April 11’2019. However, before this, the ITBP individuals of Arunachal Pradesh caste their first vote of the Lok Sabha in 2019.
As per our constitutional Army Act 1950, The service votes belong to Armed force. The service voting has two options to elect or to cast vote for the candidates. The options are through postal ballot or Classified Service Voter.

DIG Sudhakar Natarajan, who is head of ATS ITBP. He cast his first vote through ballot mail, which began at 10 a.m. in Animal training School situated in AP’s Lohitpur.

Within ATS about 30 soldiers have sent their votes. Other deployed ITBP units voted through ballot mails. Approx. more than five thousand individuals voted in this service vote phase. In which the big number of thousand were only from ITBP force.
