PM Narendra Modi has told many times to put Lok Shaba and Rajya Sabha Election together by the year ending 2018. If elections are held separately there is always a warm atmosphere in the country related to elections .It effects on the plans of the government too.
In this case government will get lot of time for work and easy to take decisions on hard issues. PM Modi told that this is the necessity of time. These things are now in debate list of the government officials .Year 2019 Lok shaba elections are in the floor and in lot of states rajya shaba elections are coming up.
As per the constitutional laws elections can be done 6 months before the given dates, so no need to change the laws of constitution. Lok shaba elections can be done in nov 2018.
To understand this political change Lok shaba prior secretary General Subhash C Kashyap and other authorities view should be taken into consideration. Next year Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram vidhan Sabha elections are on the floor .
In May 2019 elections are scheduled in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Orrisa. These all state elections can be held together with main elections needs lots of coordination’s from state government officials because no government will like to leave the seat before the scheduled date.
It will be interesting to see whether this coordination can be bought into action or not. If this coordination becomes realistic, then it will be a big step in elections improvement. Leaving Karnataka and Mizoram there is BJP government in three major states.
The prediction over 2019 elections are hot on the topic that whether current PM will emerge as a winner in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections or not .As per analysis there are 4 scenarios :
- BJP gets over 232 seats and comes in majority in elections
- If BJP gets 200 – 230 seats, there could be a leadership tussle between leaders and possibly a new member of BJP becomes prime minister.
- If BJP gets less than 200 seats and congress forms coalition, in this case Rahul Gandhi will be the next prime minister of India.
- If BJP gets less than 200 seats and congress cant form a coalition, then many small parties can come together to form government ,same as in 1996.
