In Uttarakhand 84 out of the 92 municipals in the state, the Uttarakhand Municipal Election 2018 has been declared. After getting the approval from the government, the State Election Commission issued a notice.
The process of the Uttarakhand Municipal election 2018 will start with the filing of nominations on October 20. The poll will be held on November 18, in which 23, 57,840 voters will decide the fate of candidates. Date of November 20 for Uttarakhand Municipal Election Result 2018 and live counting has been fixed. The elections will be on a ballot paper.
According to state election commissioner Mr. Chandrasekhar Bhatt, 84 bodies have been included in the election to be held on November 18. These include seven municipal corporations, 39 municipal councils, and 38 Panchayat.
The battle for 84 Seats out of 92 will start on October 20 and experts are expecting fair and ethical operations and activities by parties this year.
After the order of the High Court, the government, which was active on the election of the body, suggested the date of November 15 for the election of 84 seats, its draft was sent by the State Commission.
The commission sent it again with some changes to it. After the notification was issued by the government, State Election Commissioner Mr. Chandrasekhar Bhatt issued a notification of the election by holding a press conference on Monday evening.
In the press conference, the potential names from the party were expected prior to the Uttarakhand Municipal Election 2018 notification of limits for parties. But it did not happen so, and now it is expected to hear an announcement by a party regarding this matter soon.
Notification of limits has not been received in the Council, while voter list revision work is ongoing in Srinagar. In the case of Nagar Panchayat of Selakui, the court has decided to come. So, these five bodies will be elected later. Of course, there are no elections due to being a snow-covered area in Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri Nagar.

A lot of ecstasy was seen in Uttarakhand peoples for voting in the municipal election. Total 69.10% voting recorded which increased with 3.54 from 2013 election. The Local Body Election is going on later to its fold time on Sunday, November 18’2018. This ULB election includes many posts of Municipal such as Mayor, Ward Member, Nagar Palika President ( Adhyaksh) and other too. The total numbers of posts are 1,148. And 4,978 candidates destiny has locked in Vote Boxes.
The voting started with a low average in the morning. And it increased with the increasing of Sun rays. 44.33% voter had used their rights till 2 p.m. and it finished with 69.10%.
EC declared fold time 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voting. But due to long rows after 5 p.m., voting covered by distributing slip. Dehradun, Haridwar and U.S. Nagar voters used their right till 8 p.m. After finishing of voting the Vote box stored in the strong room under tight security.

Udham Singh Nagar scored is on top and on the list with 73.77%. Then Champapat 72.21% and Haridwar reach 72.05%, Nainital – 67.14%, Pithoragarh – 63.86%, Uttarakashi – 66.85%, Chamoli- 65.79%, Tehri – 66.01%, Rudraprayag – 66.65%, Pauri got 70.04% voter and Bagheshwar 70.02%. Dehradun reaches middle line with 68.78%. The poorer performance recorded for Almora only 58.82%

EC changed the way of voting, after considering that Ballot paper will consume more time than the fold time. Voting started in early morning at 8 a.m. EC ordered, not bundle Ballot papers with the factor of saving pretty time. While before, the rule was of making a bundle of 50 ballot papers.
State Election Commissioner Chand Shekhar Bhat said Dehradun has the biggest number of voters. Hereupon, Dehradun Municipal Election Counting will be held on 98 tables. Furthermore, he ordered to increase more functionary and table for other districts too. Bhatt hopes, the Urban Local Body (ULB) Nagar Nigam Nagar Palika, Nagar Panchayat – Municipal Election Result will announce by Tuesday night on 20th November 2018. Non-stop vote counting will continue till Municipal Election Result declaration.
